Set in beautiful mature parkland at Bonchester Bridge in the Scottish Borders, Bonchester Bridge is a residential care home for older people.
Originally the country estate for the Tancred family, Bonchester Bridge first became a care home in the 1950s and enjoys uninterrupted views of the surrounding countryside from every angle.
The home has 24 single rooms and four have en-suite bathroom facilities. Major refurbishment and modernisation work has restored the house to its former grandeur as well as providing cosy and comfortable surroundings. The latest equipment and modern facilities ensure the health and safety of our residents with limited mobility.
There is a programme of regular activities and entertainment provided every afternoon for residents who choose to join in. For those preferring peace and quiet, there are dedicated lounges for relaxation and hobbies.
