Kirksanton Care Centre sits at the heart of the village of Kirksanton fronting the village green. The town of Millom is just five miles away and the home enjoys far reaching views of the Lake District National Park.
Surrounded by large, mature gardens, the home has 25 single bedrooms, six of which have en-suite facilities. As a residential care home for older people, we also specialise in dementia care. The mews has a further 10 fully fitted modern apartments dedicated to the care of people with Korsakoff’s disease. Built as the home of the Brockbank dynasty, the family behind the Kirksanton Bank Springs Brewery, the 19th century house – previously known as The Croft – has been extensively refurbished and redecorated to offer a warm, cosy environment with modern facilities dedicated to the health and safety of our residents.
We have developed excellent relationships with social workers, regulators and our local GPs at the nearby Waterloo House surgery.
Kirksanton Care Centre also now has six newly refurbished independent living flats dedicated to older people who will have the option of a variety of care services delivered on site.
